Tracy Vik showed a video on the Project Warm Up. It was put together by Ben Schumaker to show how the tie blanket project evolved from Kaitlin Vik to hoping to do more than a 1000 blankets in 2009. Tracy had spoken to the Downtown Kiwanis Club and after they tied two blankets in just a few minutes – the club members suggested buying material and supporting. The Daybreak Kiwanis Club will do their tie night on November 5th from 5 to 9PM at the Callie Branch Library. Diversity members – as sponsors of the project should consider attending and helping Sioux Falls’ only morning club. If you have material that you could bring that evening – please do it. Diversity and Daybreak have a history of sharing project warm up and working together on projects.

A spinoza bear given by Daybreak to our Guatamaela shoe project will be going in a shipment going out tonight. The bear is Spanish speaking.
