During the month of February, 2009, the Kiwanis Diversity Club of Sioux Falls held our annual shoe drive for Guatemala. We got a great response to the shoe drive this year. The Kiwanis Club sorted, stuffed and packed shoes on Sunday Mar. 8, packing six of Medrano's largest boxes. Becky Hilfer from ND and Jackie Wunder from Michigan drove down the following weekend with a truckload of more items to pack in the shipment. We spent Saturday March 14 packing an additional four boxes.

The final tally for the mini South Dakota shipment is:
